WR This Cats Smart joins the 2011 Four Sixes Ranch Stallion Roster

GUTHRIE, Texas (August 5, 2010) Four Sixes Ranch welcomes the addition of WR This Cats Smart, owned by Wagonhound Land and Livestock Company, to its 2011 Stallion Roster.

The lineage of the 11-year-old sorrel stallion is a veritable who’s-who in the cutting horse industry - by High Brow Cat,  NCHA’s #1 All-Time Leading Sire , and out of Million Dollar Producer The Smart Look.

From the time WR This Cats Smart stepped onto the NCHA stage he demonstrated that he was worthy of his royal pedigree. With trainer Tim Smith aboard the duo went on to earn $236,514, making the finals of 24 Major Aged Events at four, five and six. The team earned numerous championship titles including the NCHA Open Finals Championship and were honored with the NCHA Bronze Award.

As one of the most consistent major competitors in the cutting horse industry WR This Cats Smart retired in 2005 to make his mark as a sire. With only two crops to show he has already sired finalists in 81 aged events. His foals dominated both the 2009 Echeta Ranch Cutting Open Futurity and the PCCHA 3-Year-Old Open Gelding Stakes where co-champions of each event were sired by WR This Cats Smart. These championships among numerous others launched him as a 2009 NCHA Top 25 Leading Sire as well as the fourth Leading Sire of Two-Year-Olds at the NCHA Futurity Sales.
